Event in Sydney: Eco-fashion and sustainable style
Curator Margot Riley will be discussing Is green the new black? on Thursday 21 February at the State Library. See here for details. There will be a fashion parade by the Vintage Clothing Shop. I might pop along, anyone else interested?

Oh bugger, that was yesterday! Did you go? Was it good?
Eco fashion used to only be of the potato sack variety, however recently things have changed and there are now some funky eco labels. Some pretty expensive eco labels too.
I'm just a regular girl, living in the inner city, working, trying dress nice, stick to my budget and reduce my impact on the earth. I do green things around the home, but can I also dress green without compromising style and budget?
Here are some stories of my search for labels that claim to have some eco conscious philosophy, use sustainable fabrics and hopefully have ethical production practices that also look good, feel good and make me feel good.
